Guns of Ava: The Ken Dula Story
10/25/2025 @ 7:30pm

“Guns of Ava” is a true story set in the foothills of a small mountain town in Lenior, NC, where Ken falls deeply in love with a charming girl, Ava. Then what he dreads the most is upon him–the military draft to the jungles of South Vietnam. Ken’s only survival is sustained by his love for Ava, but it came with a cost. This play depicts the fragility of mankind, effects of war on a soldier, and the resilience of a broken heart.
