Interested in acting or film? Join a “Fireside Chat after play with Tyler Perry’s, “If Loving You Is Wrong”, Television/Film actor, Jay Hunter and an Executive Producer, Monica Benton

As a native of Buffalo, NY, Jay Hunter is the charismatic actor who starred as “Ian” on the OWN television drama series of Tyler Perry’s, “If Loving You Is Wrong”, and Tyler’s “Acrimony” (playing opposite Empire sensational, Taraji Henson). Jay is known for his physical, “tough guy” roles in films like Max Payne, Animal II, Marvel’s Agents of Shield and more. He played professionally for the Arena Football League before his big break in show biz. As a teacher in the public school system in Los Angeles, Jay is passionate about the needs of children. Though he is no longer in education he continues to actively explore philanthropic activities in education and athletics geared towards supporting underprivileged youths desiring to become actors or TV/Film producers.

From Palmdale, CA, Monica Benton is the owner of Entertainment Network Forum, a production company for the arts. Her 20 years of entrepreneur experience as a real estate developer prepared her to transition into the Producers Program at NY Film Academy. Inspired by her love of the arts, she launched the Business of Entertainment conference in 2018. Her company brings professional leaders to teach and motivate aspiring artists in the entertainment field. With passion for others to reach their highest potential in theater, film and television, Monica has generated an influx of requests for her conferences in several states throughout the USA.

The “Fireside Chat” gives the inside scoop of show biz with tips on “Do’s and Don’ts” and “Ins and Outs” of the Hollywood industry. These mentors that have been there, done that, are anxious to help craft your talent by giving you real advice and solid instruction for a successful career. Don’t you dare miss it!
